The Team
Georgina Neophytou /Script Writer/ Director / Producer
Georgina Neophytou began her career in the academic world: teaching, researching and writing. Publications include, ‘The secret cemetery’. She is a sociology graduate and holds a Masters degree from the London School of Economics.
Georgina studied film at the Metropolitan Film School at Ealing studios, and at the New York Film Academy. She has written and directed a number of short films including ‘Gemini Rising’.
Georgina recently completed co-writing the script for ‘Breaking Ground; a feature that is now in pre-production. She is working on a screenplay ‘Strange Fruit’. This is a story set in British colonial Cyprus in the 1950’s.
Georgina is a member of the Wftv.
Ann O’Driscoll / Writer / Producer
Ann O’Driscoll is an award-winning short story writer. She is a graduate of the University of London, and holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Essex. She is a stills photographer and the camera-woman for our first two short films. Ann has co-written ‘Breaking Ground’. She is nearing completion of her novel ‘To The Island’, which will be turned into a film script in the near future.
Angelo Sofroniou / Editor / Producer
Angelo is the editor and producer at Neophilms. He studied at the London Film School and at the New York Film Academy. He recently had one of his films he produced for BigPlus Productions along with Joel Byron, shown at the World Premiere of “Alice In Wonderland”. As well as Neophilms Angelo is also producing films for BigPlus Productions and One1 Films.
Jackie Bell / Executive Producer
Jackie Bell has been a member of the neophilms team right from
The Very Beginning. In her capacity as executive producer she
Played a pivotal role in setting up the company. She brings with her
extensive business knowledge and experience. Such talents will be a
Huge boost in the growth and development of neophilms as a production
Company.

Joel Byron / Producer
Joel helped in the productions of “The Green Dream” and “Gemini Rising”. He runs his own film company “BigPlus Productions”. He studied at The Metropolitan Film School at Ealing Studios in London. Joel, along with Angelo produced a film for The Prince’s Foundation Children & The Arts and enjoyed walking the Red Carpet at the recent world premiere of Tim Burton’s “Alice In Wonderland” where it was shown.
Steven Priovolos / Director of Photography
Born in Athens, Greece, Steven is a graduate of the Cinematography Course of the London Film School, UK – following a First Class Honours (A) degree in Physics obtained at Imperial College in London.
Steven is a multi award winning Cinematographer currently working as a freelance Director of Photography in dramas, documentaries, commercials and music promos around the world. Several of his projects have been screened in various festivals around the world winning prestigious awards.
The recent months Steven has focused his career more on drama production – shooting various feature films and shorts around Europe, Asia and the US. He also teaches Cinematography as a Guest Lecturer in colleges and universities around Europe.
Steven has recently completed his last two feature film projects; ‘Bodyguard’, a Hong Kong based action film and ‘The Kiss of Life’, a Greek comedy by Village Roadshow and Warner Brothers. He is currently in pre-production on various other features and shorts in the UK, Europe, Asia and the US.
Nej Adamson / Producer
Most will know Nej from his acting career, but he is currently in the production team on one of our projects in pre-production.
Nej is still acting and will be on the cast list of “Breaking Ground” as well as the crew list. He is also co-owner of One1 Films along with Angelo. He starred in Eastenders for five years as Ali Osman and as well as parts in The Bill, Doctor Who, Carry On Columbus and Bo’ Selecta he appeared in Pirates Of The Caribbean.
